The Lopez Family Serving the Lord

We are blessed to have the Lopez family as Altar servers in the English Mass on Saturday. The little boy has not received his first communion yet and so is not yet allowed to serve but he doesn't want to be left out when his family is serving and so he also dressed up as altar server and just remain in his seat.

Third Sunday of Lent- Year C

God is always giving us a second chance. This is the core message of the parable Jesus told to his listeners in this Sunday’s gospel. Our God is so loving, that every time we fail He gives us a clean slate and a fresh start. That is because His only interest is for us to bear fruit.

Let us use this Lenten season to nourish our spiritual lives so we can bear fruit ( or fruits ) that will give life to our church community and society.

************
I remember one priest telling a parishioner " God expects us to bear spiritual fruits and not religious nuts!" Smile.
